Trip to Martyn Baileys

I had an enjoyable trip to see luthier Martyn Bailey last week. He did some superb set up work on my double basses and whilst I was there I had the pleasure of playing some of his instruments. Both his flatback and swell back models were fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a fine english double bass.

I also had a chance to take some quick pictures on my phone of his current builds. The pictures only give a rough impression of the amazing workmanship. Im looking forward to seeing how these next two instruments turn out.
